Enjoying our Summer!

Summer is going to fast, but we are enjoying every moment we can!!!
Photobucket
We started the summer, noticing Cole had a tooth coming in behind he wiggly one!
Photobucket
With some reminding to wiggle and help from me, we got his tooth out!  Cole cried at first, but quickly became excited that it was out!!
Photobucket
Only 10 days later, Cole lost his second tooth!  This came with the help of Haden who wanted to wiggle it and pulled down on it.  With it left hanging, I pulled it out!  Once again Cole cried for a short bit and then was loving the fact that his second tooth was gone!

Delaney was invited to her Cousin, Lily's, Birthday Party!  It was a Princess party and Delaney couldn't wait!!!
  Photobucket
She, of course, told me she needed to have 'princess hair'.  So I searched for a bit and made some changes to the hairstyle I was going to do and this is what we came up with :)
She loved it!!
Photobucket
Lacy, Lily and Delaney before the party started!  Such Beautiful Princesses!!!!
  Photobucket
Delaney came home and talked about this party for a long time!  She had a blast, and loves doing all things girly!!!!
Photobucket
My mom took me to see Les Miserables in Cedar City, and it was fun!  We went with a group of women she works with at the Temple and took the whole day to enjoy it all!  We stopped to see this statue in St. George!  It is gorgeous!!!
Photobucket
Then we went on to see the play, I LOVED it!  I cried, but it was a good cry!  I just absolutely LOVE this play!!!
Thanks Mom!!!!
Photobucket
Haden grabs my hand and holds it while walking through stores every once in a while.  I have to say it makes me smile and I wanted to document it :)
Photobucket
It's our wards turn to clean the church!  With Jeff being one of the facility reps in our ward, we get the opportunity to help.  I do have to say it is awesome to see the support he gets from our ward members who come out and help!!!
Photobucket
Swimming!  Our kids LOVE swimming at the rec pools!
Photobucket
After swimming, this is how Delaney fell asleep :)
Photobucket
One night the kids were all dancing.  Haden and Delaney danced a whole song and he kept spinning her and dipping her.  It was adorable!!
Photobucket
My 'Fierce' Boys!
This picture totally cracks me up :)
Photobucket
More cleaning the church :)
Photobucket
Sliding down the stairs is always a blast!!
  Photobucket
It brings back many memories of being a kid and doing that!
They used sleeping bags, pillow cases and the next day brought down and old crib mattress!
Photobucket
I love watching them!!!
Photobucket
My Dad watched our kids one Saturday.  When we got to their house to pick our kids up, he had made them 'Turtle Burgers' for lunch!  He had them help and they LOVED it!  Such a great Papa!!!
Photobucket
Spending some nights doing one of the kids' favorite things, watching a movie and enjoying some popcorn!
Photobucket
I feel so blessed and truly LOVE summer and the chance I got to be with my kids!!  I look forward to these moments/days/times/minutes and cherish them!!!!

Bucket List cross offs!!

With Jeff going back to work and both of use working this past week, we didn't get much done on our list!  We are hoping to start crossing a whole lot more off after this coming week!
Photobucket

We crossed off Video Game Day!
Photobucket
This is a favorite with the boys!  Haden enjoyed time on his DS!
Photobucket
The other boys enjoyed a day of wii!
Photobucket
They get so into what they are playing!
Photobucket
Delaney comes and goes as they play, and watches more than she plays.  But she was a part of it for a little while :)

Popsicles....Yum!!
Photobucket
We have actually had popsicles a couple of times, but kept forgetting to snap pictures :)
So the kids got to enjoy them a couple of times!

Making cookies!!!!
Photobucket
The kids love helping and being a part!
Photobucket
And even though it's a bit more time consuming, it's fun to also take the time to enjoy doing this with them!
Photobucket
The dough was enjoyed as well as some cookies, I think it made the kids' night!
Photobucket
And with 4 cracking eggs, we luckily had NO shells!
Photobucket
Kahle being such a big helper!

These are super yummy!!

Over the past little while we have been doing our Naked Egg Project!  It's taken us a bit longer to complete because of time, but we did it and the kids had a blast!  And it's one that has been requested to do again!
Photobucket
Starting out by putting the eggs in vinegar!
Photobucket
All set and ready to go!
Photobucket
Let the foaming begin!
Photobucket
Can you see the shell is already disappearing after the first day?!
Photobucket
They were already almost off and were just crazy!
Photobucket
After the second day, you can see the shells are gone!  Some still had some white to them, but they were just as sturdy as the others!

We took pictures to compare with the same size eggs we started with, to what we have after day 2!

After feeling the eggs, the kids got to choose what happened to their egg next!  Haden, Grant and Cole decided to put theirs in corn syrup.  Delaney and Kahle put theirs in colored water!
Photobucket
After day 1 in corn syrup and it's already shrinking!
Photobucket
This is what happened to their eggs!
Photobucket
I have to say that Kahle LOVED his being blue!  He could always pick his out because of the blue color!
Photobucket
On the water/dyed eggs, it was crazy because you could see the yolk floating and the water inside of the egg!
Photobucket
The dyed egg and the shrunken egg!

Photobucket
These felt so weird!!!
Photobucket
After the ones from the corn syrup were put into colored water and the dyed ones were put into corn syrup!

Here is what we got.....

We decided it would be fun to try and break them!
Photobucket
The water ones broke fairly easily, but the corn syrup ones we couldn't get to break at all!
Photobucket

Photobucket
Such a fun experiment!!!!
Photobucket
One we will definitely be adding to our bucket list again!

Well there's where we are at with our list!  We will be posting more soon :)
