Totally Random :)

This post is going to be totally random!!
We still have yet to name this baby boy, which frustrates me! Since I know that he is a boy, I want him to have a name :) Jeff and I came home and looked at our list and there were one or two we liked, but none of them stood out. We have gone through MANY websites full of names, and have gotten a list put together of ones we like, but still none that are jumping out at us. With the other 4, when we looked at names it was like we definitely 'knew' what their name should be. So I am hoping that happens soon with this one! I look forward to my appt. on the 3rd, to hopefully set our c-section date and finally meet with my new doctor!

Some things the kids said that I wanted to write down:
After our ultrasound Haden said to me that he loved watching our baby on the tv. Then he said 'because now I know what it looks like when he's punching and kicking me'. It was so sweet and so sincere!! He always wants to know what he is doing in there, and it seemed to have just clicked with him how it all works. I loved it!!!

Haden and Grant were deciding what they wanted to play. Haden was doing his best to 'convince' Grant that they should pretend to play basketball. Out of the blue Grant said 'well Haden you play like a one man show'. I had to hold in my laughter, because Haden was not happy that Grant just said that!

Cole's latest is when you tell him he is cute or adorable, he will say 'I'm not cute, I'm Coleman'. It makes us laugh because he totally gets the joking part of it!

Here are some random pictures....

We are having a........................

BOY!!!!!!!!!!!
I really had no clue going into this ultrasound, and really I didn't have a preference of what we were having. We are so excited and are now going to talk about names and figure out what his name is going to be :)
Here are some pictures from the ultrasound. We got to have Haden and Grant there along with my Mom, Sandee and Jeff's Mom, Trudy. And the ultrasound tech was kind enough to do some 3D shots for us! So that was a treat!! And made me cry to see his adorable little face!
Here is a side view in 3D:

Here he is covering his face:

Here is THE shot :) as you can see he is definitely a Boy!!
Here is his profile:
Here are his cute little feet:

So any boy name suggestions you have pass them our way :)

24 Weeks...........

I am SO excited to find out what we are having!! We are 24 weeks along in our pregnancy, that leaves only 16 weeks until our due date, ack! And then to think it will be a week or two less than that, because of me having c-sections. And here we still don't know what this one is! *crossing our fingers* and praying that it all works out tomorrow, we should be in our ultrasound at 10 am. Once we get home I will post the results here on the blog. The thought of knowing what this one is going to be is exciting, and scary all at the same time. It makes it that much more real in knowing we are going to have 5 kids!
I have to laugh because it seems that more and more people are having fewer kids. And so to have 4 is a big deal to everyone, I can just imagine the comments with 5 :) I was at the store with just Haden and Grant, and they were being so good, it was a breeze! Then I had this lady who dramatically says to me 'oh you have your hands full!' I just smiled and moved on, if she only knew how easy that was for me to have 2 out of the 4 with one on the way :) We get these comments all the time, even when we don't have all of the kids with us. And when we do have all 4, we get TONS of comments, looks and even people gasping that we have this many kids. And to me it isn't a big deal, call me crazy, but it is I guess normal from growing up with 5 kids, having tons of cousins and just a big family! It's fun!
I meet with my doctor on the 3rd, and I am *hoping* that he will talk about scheduling my c-section. It would be nice to have the date set and be able to start getting things ready for it! So we will see :)
So be on the lookout for our big announcement of whether we are having a boy or a girl! If you can't tell, I am so excited and I can't wait, it's like Christmas, where you are so excited you can hardly contain it :)

Catchin' a Belly Ache

I want to remember him saying this, so I am writing it down!
Jeff and I are on the activities committee for our ward. And yesterday our stake had a valentines party/dance for the adults. So in the morning I went over to help with our ward assignments. We were suppose to be done by noon, and Jeff had dropped me off and was coming back to get me. We were so close to being done, and I still had a sauce to make that I was going to go back for later but decided to stay and make it. So I went out to the car to get what I needed for the sauce and Grant starts to cry. He did not want me to stay and proceeds to tell me that he is 'catchin' a belly ache'! It was the cutest thing I had heard. Jeff got him home and he was not happy that I wasn't there. Once I finished they came and got me (I had only been gone for 3 hours) and all of the kids acted like I had been gone for a week. Sadly he continued to 'catch a belly ache' throughout the afternoon and by the evening was running a fever. He definitely wasn't feeling good! But he has said that he had a belly ache when we didn't want to finish eating something or even do something, so I figured that is what he was doing. Instead his belly really did ache :( He just hung out the rest of the night, we gave the kids baths and then sent them to bed. Grant woke up fine, no fever and feeling good. But we decided since he had just had a fever the night before we would keep him home from church. And I am home with him because my body is not used to me being on my feet all day long. From cleaning the house in the morning, helping at the church and then coming home making cookies, I think I stood more than I sat, lol!! And now my back is paying for it. So we are just taking it easy this morning and waiting for the rest of the boys to come home from church. No we did not send Delaney, between Delaney and Cole, they make Sacrament meeting a bit difficult, and Jeff did not need to deal with both of them!

Happy Valentines Day!!

We wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentines Day!! We hope you get to spend today with ones you love! I am grateful for holidays that are about love, it helps me take more time out of my day to remind myself of all the things I love about those that are close to me!!

For Haden's class and for the kids' cousins, we made these cute Valentines this year (for the cousins that live out of state, yours are coming!). We got these shovels, and then tied a bag filled with candy to them. Then made these cards that say 'I Dig You!' and tied them to the whole thing. I think they turned out really cute, and Haden and Grant had fun helping me make them! The picture at the top is the ones we did for Haden's class. The picture to the left is of Haden and Grant helping me, and being silly :) The last picture is a close up of our final product! The boys and I were happy with how they turned out! Haden couldn't wait to pass them out to his friends at school.
We hope you all have a wonderful day! Know we love you and are grateful for each of you in our lives!!
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!

Get Your Guesses In!

We are down to 4 more sleeps until we have our ultrasound on Friday!! I am anxious and excited to see this baby, make sure everything is okay and to find out what we are having!! The picture is our baby at only 9 weeks along, there is going to be a huge difference in ultrasound pictures when we get them on Friday compared to this one!
So what do you think we will be having?? What is your guess??
For the record, Haden thinks Girl, Grant thinks Boy, Cole thinks Boy (for today,it changes from day to day). I honestly don't have a clue or even a guess, Jeff is the same way.

Cole is a Big Boy!

We have moved Cole into a toddler bed! Jeff and I were both nervous to do this, because Cole is a little crazy at times :) We worried he might get into everything, or hear the boys in the room next to him and get out and go play. He has surprised us and stays put in his bed. When he wakes up in the morning he stays sitting on his bed until you open his door and tell him he can come out! Part of you doesn't want to tell him he can just walk out, because it is great! The other part would like him to just get up when he wakes up :) I know that sooner or later he will, so for now we will enjoy this. He did great the first two nights, and then tonight he struggled a bit. I think it finally set in that he is a big boy! And I can only imagine how scary that can be at times! He looks so cute in his bed, and we are loving this! Next step is our attempt to potty train :) We will see what he does with that, just to maybe get him out of diapers and only have 2 in them instead of 3, which would be nice! But if he is not ready we won't push it, it isn't worth it!!
This picture of Grant is to show you the nice cut by his eye! This happened a few days ago! Cole decided to, out of the blue, throw one of those plastic yellow construction hats at Grant. It got him right by his eye, caused it to bruise and gave him a little scratch/cut. Grant keeps picking at the scab, so it almost looks worse now then it did a couple of days ago. I made sure Cole knew that he hurt him and he seriously felt bad for doing it when he saw Grant's eye.
This next picture of Delaney is just too cute! She loves to pose, and it totally cracks me up!! She has such a sweet and sincere smile in this picture that I had to post it!!
This last picture is of my 4 kids and Adri's cuties, Jack and Lily! On Friday she came over to hang out and let the kids play together. We got lunch at Wendy's and they got to sit and watch a movie. I love this picture, it is just too cute of all of them! Later that night Adri came back over and Jeff watched all 6 kids by himself (Trent is on a campout with Scouts) while Adri and I went to dinner. It was nice to get out with her, talk and spend sometime away. Jeff was awesome and I so appreciate him doing that for Adri and I! We had a good time and the kids loved having Jack and Lily over to play! Delaney did get a little jealous if Lily was sitting with Jeff, or Jeff was taking care of her. It was funny and will be interesting to see how she reacts when a new baby gets here! Speaking of, our ulrasound is Friday and the time is flying by! It is great!!! I can't wait for our appt. so we can see what this little one is!

Love this age!!!

I love when they pick up on phrases and start using them. Cole lately has been using the phrase 'I've been looking everywhere!' I am not sure where he has picked it up from, maybe it's something Haden and Grant have said and I just haven't noticed. But he uses it when he or we are looking for something! This morning the boys were playing with their toys and I asked them if they had seen Delaney's sippy cup. Cole immediately says 'I don't know Mom, I've been looking everywhere!' even though he has been sitting there playing! It makes Jeff and I laugh every time he says it and how he says it because he says it like he is truly concerned with what needs to be found! I need to get a video of him saying it!

I love when they start picking up on things, and putting words and phrases in the right context! It is fun to be able to have a conversation with him and know that he is understanding you!

Yesterday Grant and I were talking about the baby, and Cole starting to join in on the conversation. He told me it's a baby girl and proceeded to tell me the baby will be big like Coleman :) So I told him no the baby will be small. Grant and I went through and we said everything that will be small, the feet, hands, ears, head, body. It was fun to sit and talk with Grant about the baby. I know that in the past he has understood what was going on but I think this is the first time he has truly gotten it and been excited about the thought of a baby!! Cole was sitting on my lap and laid on me, Grant freaked out and told him to get off that he was squishing the baby. I explained to Grant that he was okay, but it still upset him that he might hurt our baby. Afterwards, Grant asked the baby if he was okay. Then he got kind of embarrassed, so I told him that he can talk to the baby! The baby can hear him and so if he wants to he can. He then leaned down and got closer to my belly and started to talk to it. He did not like me watching him, so I made sure to not let him see me :) But he said 'my name is Grant, I'm going to be your brother' and said a few other things that I wish I had written down. It was such a sweet moment!!

Grant still says it's a boy and Haden says it's girl, because we already have too many boys, lol! And Cole is now saying it's a girl! So it will be interesting to see what this little one is! I really have no preference, just a healthy baby is all I ask for! Boys are so fun that I wouldn't mind having another one. And if it's a girl, Delaney would love to have a sister! So either way we will be happy! In the next couple of days I will make a post for everyone to put in their guesses before our Ultrasound that is scheduled for the 13th! We are so excited!!!
