Happy Halloween!!!!

Today has been a fun filled day! From dressing up, class parties, school parades and trick or treating! It has been pack full of Halloween fun and the kids had a blast!

This morning we sent the kids off to school dressed and ready in their costumes. I got to help out in Cole's class today and it is so fun to see 'most' them dressed up (not every kid wore their costume)!
Cole in line for the Kindergarten Halloween parade!

Since the school parade isn't until the afternoon, the morning Kindergarten got to parade around the school and show off their costumes. It was too cute :)

This afternoon Cole, Delaney and Kahle got dressed in their costumes and we went to watch Haden and Grant in the costume parade! They loved seeing all the costumes, and the kids loved seeing those 3 dressed up as well :)
Haden with his class!
Grant kept waving :)

After the parade, it was so close to the boys getting out of school, we just hung out and waited in Grant's classroom.

That evening we met at the Crane's house, since we always hit up their neighborhood anyway :) And went out as a group!
The kids ready to go Trick or Treating!!
They were so cute, and scored in the candy dept.
She loved this! And would come down each time and tell me what candy she got. One time she came down so excited, but said 'oh I forgot what they gave me' :)
Such a fun group!!!
There were some super fun houses all decked out!
Checking her bag :)
Cole quickly got tired and we would have to remind him to pick his bag up, because he would drag it. But he still had a good time!
Jeff said Kahle would say 'Lego Boba Fett' each time he went up to a house, instead of saying Trick or Treat....HAHA!!!!

Thanks to the Crane's for letting us tag along! We had so much fun!!!

5 Little Pumpkins!

Tonight we carved 5 Little Pumpkins!

The kids had a blast, and it was the most laid back, stress free pumpkin carving we have ever had! I think a lot of it was we let them just do what they want, no templates, just their drawings! Also it helped that Haden and Grant could do most of their cutting and cleaning out by themselves.
Drawing their perfect faces!
Each one so different and so unique and so them!
With the direction of Jeff, Kahle was able to draw his own :)
Perfection for each of them!
We love them and they make me smile!!!!
She didn't want to grab it with her hands, but wanted to use the scoop!
Grant's not a fan of the slimy gooey inside, but he cleaned it out and did most of it on his own!
Coleman's comment for the night was 'all pumpkins are Moms because they make baby pumpkins' - referring to their seeds :)
It was a great way to spend our Sunday afternoon!
