2nd Week Down.....

We have had another week of FUN! We have kept busy and are enjoying our summer!!

Monday Haden picked to ride bikes out front! Thank heavens that he picked this for Monday, when it wasn't as hot outside!
He had a blast!!!
Riding the skateboard, which was lots of fun!
Grant riding Delaney's bike!
Isn't she cute?!! Love her :)

Kahle had a blast running around!

Jeff and Haden rode around the block together, too fun!!

Tuesday was Grant's turn and he picked renting Star Wars 3 for the wii. They got to play it a lot!
Yeah, I forgot to take pictures :(
Delaney and Kahle were playing around!
Aren't they cute :)

Wednesday Cole picked being lazy and playing wii, which worked out since we still had Star Wars 3 until that night.
The boys love playing with their Dad :)

After 2 days of playing wii we took Thursday off, just to take a break!
She is getting curly hair, I have to wonder how it is going to turn out! The top is super curly and her ends are straight. Who knows but this picture makes me smile!

Thursday Delaney picked camping out in the family room!
Here the kids are eating popcorn and watching Dancing with the Stars and then we watched Chicken Little.
Cheese :)
So sweet :)
Another Cheeser!
Silly girl!!
Silly boy!!
All tucked in before the movie! It was a tab bit of a rough night, but we had fun! Jeff and I slept on the couch to be down there with them. The kids loved it :)

Today Jeff and I picked and surprised the kids with Kung Fu Panda 2! They had NO clue until we were there :)
We all loved it, super cute movie!! We had fun!!! We also went out to my parents and hung out with my Daddy for a while. The kids love visiting and it was a good time :)

Looking forward to all that next weeks brings us :)

5 down.....

We are a week into our Summer Bucket List, and 5 fun activities down! The kids are LOVING it and each day take turns picking something fun to do. I have found it makes the day go better, and they look forward to seeing what we will do that day. (I also can use it as an incentive to be good)

Monday started out with Hot Wheel Races - Grant's pick! We were going to do them down the driveway, but Kahle likes to run in the street, so we thought it would be fun to race them down the slide into the pool.

They loved figuring out which ones went faster, and raced each other!

All 5 of my kiddos, love this picture :)

Tuesday brought us a Star Wars Marathon (minus number 3, since it's rated PG-13) - Haden's pick. The boys were in heaven (including Kahle)!! And Delaney and I were reminded how out numbered we were :) They watched all 5!

So Delaney and I painted our toenails! I started out doing hers, but she asked if we could match :) So we do...and she loves it!!

This is just a random picture of Kahle, because I wanted to document how he goes to sleep each nap time and at night. He likes to have all of his stuffed animals (that he has personally picked to be in his bed) piled on top of him. It makes me smile :)

Wednesday we had a water balloon fight - Cole's pick! That all enjoyed and had a blast with!

I joined in after I snapped a few pictures :)
All my guys :)

After the water balloons were gone, we played in the water and had fun!
Delaney was cold :) She is so cute!!!
I think we wore her out, she crashed! I love that she is laying on the side of the couch!

Thursday we made our own pizzas - Jeff & I picked!!!! This was so fun, and definitely something we will be doing again!
Getting ready to roll out their dough!
Spreading the sauce....

Putting on cheese, pepperonis and some picked bacon as well!
Kahle and his pizza :)
They were each so proud of their creations...Love this girl!!!
Each one spent time placing each pepperoni and bacon in just the right spot! Love his smile!!
They loved this!! Haden is one good looking kid!
Grant was so proud of how round his pizza was :)
The finished products! They all said they were way yummy, and ate pretty much all of it!
Delaney and Kahle were playing, she wrapped Kahle with a bunch of towels. Aren't they so cute?!!

Friday we made doughnuts - Delaney's pick! Jeff and I got the dough ready the night before so that Friday the kids could help us cut them out and get them ready!

We had some melting chocolate, and so we made chocolate and chocolate with sprinkles too!
They were a hit!

We have also spent time each day reading and doing some writing (they get a break on the weekends, lol)! I have found that between the reading, writing and our fun activity it helps keep the kids busy, entertained and there isn't as much fighting!! Which is awesome!!
