The School Year has Begun!!

The new school year has started and we have a 2nd Grader and a 1st Grader!!! Where have my babies gone?! It will be so weird to only have 3 kids for most of the day! These boys are going to be missed that is for sure! They were SO excited to go to school and I am excited to watch them grow and learn and see the changes they make throughout the year!

It's amazing to see the changes that they have made since last year, you can see last years pictures HERE. Here are their first day pictures......
Our Big 2nd Grader!!!
Such a handsome kid!! We look forward to watching you learn and grow even more! You are such an amazing kid and we are so proud of who you are!!
He's in 1st Grade!!!
One good looking boy! Grant you are awesome and such an example to those around you. We are so proud of you and can't to see you learn so much and continue to be awesome!
He's is getting so big, gotta love that grin!!
Total attitude this morning, lol! Our pretty girl :)
Where did our baby boy go?!! He was so excited to stand here and get his picture taken!!
They no longer fit in the doorway, too many of them!! We are so proud of our kids and how awesome they are!!!
Man I love these two!! I can't wait for them to get home and hear about their 1st day!!
Went right in and got to work! Smart teachers to get them busy as soon as they get there :) Haden has another set of team teachers who we have heard awesome things about! I can't wait to get to know them better!
Notice the tears in his eyes! Melts your heart, but his teachers are awesome and he is going to do great! Grant has the team teachers Haden had last year, and we are super impressed with them!

Time is going too quickly and we are trying to enjoy each moment we have! I love these kids SO much, my life would not be complete without them!!!

Oh Summer, how we will miss you!

We have been having fun playing and enjoying the break from school for the boys! I can't believe they start back on Monday, it feels like they just got out of school. Oh wait.....they basically did, lol! We have enjoyed LOTS of swimming, playing at the park, lounging around, cleaning (well maybe not) and playing with couins!! This past week was no exception! We went swimming, had sleep overs and enjoyed cousins!

Here are some pictures from this week......
He loved this hat, and I think he looks adorable in it!
This little boys LOVE to stand up on things! He likes to stand on this and scares me because it has wheels. He also LOVES the couch and falls off many times and has already figured out how to climb up on the table....we are in for it now!

On Thursday we went Swimming at my parents pool for one last big swim party before school starts!
Gotta love the tongue!
Lacy (Adri's daughter) is too cute :) She totally stood there posing for me!
Grant Jumping!
Haden's turn!
Our swimming beauty!!
Oh look Baby Laney :)
Such a handsome boy!
Going for a ride!
Kahle chewing on some toys!!
Grant off playing in his imaginary world :)
They went to play ring around the rosies and Delaney decided she would float too! Crazy girl!!
Thursday night my parents had Haden, Grant, Ethan and Kate over to spend the night, they had a BLAST!!! Thanks Mom and Dad!!! We decided since they were doing a sleep over, we would have Jack come spend the night with Coleman. These two were so fun to watch and played so well. It was a good time!
Making shishkabobs for dinner at my parents!
Doing a craft project!
These two played everything from cowboys, to ninjas to building a very long train track!
Yeah, he is adorable!!
Coleman has an obsession with his batman pj's, like he does not like to wear anything else. And so when Jack had batman pj's too, Cole could hardly contain his excitement! Then I had them pose as Bat Boys and they were just too cute!

Imagination!

Yesterday I was taking out Delaney's curlers and getting ready to do her hair. She asked to put the curlers in the bag, and so I would close the curler and hand it to her. I think I handed her two before she went off into a world of her own! She was playing with the curlers as though they were toys, and it made me smile! I had Jeff come take a picture of her, because I wanted to capture that moment! I have to wonder if this is how my parents felt at times. I was known to be off playing with crayons, make up, anything that I could make into people in my head! I remember being given cheap toothbrushes that my Mom drew faces on and LOVING them! Delaney is the same way! We have caught her many times playing with her feet in the car, and totally making them talk and it is the cutest thing ever!!

We have had a more relaxing week last week! We have done a lot of playing and just hanging out at home, or in the words of Phineas and Ferb, we have had some 'do nothing kind of days'! It has been a lot of fun! There have been many spaceships built with legos, games on the wii played, sword fights and a favorite in our house.....dress up! The kids have a bunch of their old costumes that they just love! Check out some random pictures below....
We LOVE Coleman's outfit! This is his Robin costume from 2 years ago! Put that with a pirate hat and some cowboy boots and you have an awesome outfit!!
Even with a mouth full of food, he is so sweet! He stood there smiling while I was taking Cole's picture, so I took one of him and it made him happy!
Gotta love the crazy hair, a fireman's coat and some princess shoes!!
Kahle LOVE playing on the couch, we have no clue why but it definitely is a favorite! Well he has learned to climb behind the couch in the corner behind our sectional where we have some blankets and to play back there! You can see how much he likes it just by his smile!

Only one more week until the kids start back to school! They are excited, I have mixed emotions since our break has been so short! We are going to do some fun things this week and on Friday we get to go see their classrooms and meet their teachers. Should be fun!!!

The FUN Continues.....

We have had a TON of fun playing with cousins this past week! The kids would get so excited each day when we would tell them what fun we had in store! Each day was filled with playing with cousins and the kids couldn't have asked for anything better!

On Tuesday we went over to Adri and Trent's house to play on the slip 'n slide and just have fun!
Haden enjoying the slip 'n slide!!
Getting a drink :)
Seems to be a lot of fun!
He LOVED being able to play in the water outside!! Two of his favorite things, being outside and water!

Sweet Lil' Man!
Splashing in the water :)
Coleman and Max off in their own world!
Grant has quite the imagination!
I love this face he pulls when it is sunny :)
Otter Pops....YUM!!
I think the kids were excited!
He is getting too big, and no longer a little boy!
Jack and Grant playing in the water!
She looks like she is on a mission!
What could be more fun than playing on a slip 'n slide? Playing with dinosaurs on the slip 'n slide!
Such great friends!

On Thursday we met up with Jenn at a community center pool. The kids had a BLAST! The older boys loved the slide and the kids just played and enjoyed it!! Thanks for the invite Jenn :)
Haden coming off the slide!
We were shocked, but Grant LOVED it!
Crawling around in the water!
Such an awesome Dad!!!
He looks like he is up to something :)
Delaney and Gentry, Delaney loves Gentry!

Friday night we went over to Adri and Trent's house to play some more! Dana leaves today, so we thought it would be fun to have one last big thing together. The adults played games and the kids dressed up and just had a BLAST playing with each other!
Some of the princesses :) Delaney and Gentry!
These 5 are all about the same age! Gentry and Wilson (Gentry's on the far left, and Wilson is on the far right) were born in May of 2007, Lily (next to Gentry) was born in July of 2007, Delaney was born in August of 2007 and Kelly was born in February of 2008 (so just like 6 months later). It's so fun to watch this group of kids run around together!
Kelly, Delaney and Gentry!!
Papa Dan, THE Greatest Papa EVER!
It was a super fun night! I don't think my kids are going to know what to do with themselves next week when we are hanging out with cousins all week!

This next week we are going to attempt potty training with Delaney! Cross your fingers for us all :)
