Not the circus show!

I always post about the looks we get and the comments or noises we hear when we take our whole family into a store. It has gotten comical to Jeff and I, and we still experience every time we all go into a store together. But yesterday was such a nice experience! We went to pre-register at the hospital and the lady that took me back to fill out the paper work was so sweet. The hospital had a kids play area so Jeff just stayed out there with them while I went back. She asked me how many this baby will make and really waiting for the reaction I told her 5. She said, really?! That is so fun! I have 5 sisters, so there are 6 of us total. We went on to talk about big families and how they aren't common anymore, and it was fun to have someone who doesn't freak out about how many we have. When I was done, I went back out and Jeff took Cole to change his diaper while I stayed with the kids in the play area. I had this older lady catch my eye and kind of wave at me. So I looked up and she said that she was impressed that we had 4 and one on the way. And loved watching them and how well behaved they were. She talked about how it isn't common to see families with more than 2 or 3, so she loved that we had more. Jeff told me later that lady actually got up from where she was sitting and moved closer to the play area and he wondered why, and now we know :) It was just so nice to not be the circus show walking around and to have totally different reactions than normal.

Today was a good day at church! The kids were, for the most part, well behaved and it makes the whole meeting that much more enjoyable! The hardest part of church right now is sitting, it hurts to sit for too long. So I am constantly adjusting how I am sitting and moving this way and that. And today my ankles swelled bigger than they have yet this pregnancy. So I am sitting here with them up and letting them go down. I am glad that they have started to! I am not a fan of swollen ankles, and hate when I have to deal with them during my pregnancy. The kids all enjoyed their class at church and Delaney and Cole stayed in nursery (except when Cole needed changed) which is always SO nice!!

Here are some more random pictures ~~
This was Cole and Delaney's nap time. They fell asleep on the ground even before lunch. Delaney woke up about 20 minutes later, but Cole slept there for almost 2 hours. They must have been exhausted!
Haden and Grant were pushing/pulling Cole and Delaney on this tray. Cole and Delaney were laughing so hard. It was way too cute! Haden wanted a picture of their feet in the air :) When he would pull their legs would fly up like this!

Delaney came in with this bag and was wanting it tied around her waist! Gotta love her skirt :)

Lastly here I am at 33 weeks! I get to have an ultrasound on Friday and I am so excited! We are going to take Haden and Grant with us and my Mom is going to watch Cole and Delaney. I am excited to see Kahle one more time, and to hear what is happening and start to figure out where we go from here. I can't believe how quickly time is going! I am so grateful for Jeff, who is stepping and helping me out with the cleaning! I know that everything will definitely get done because he is helping me so much!! We bought material yesterday to recover the cradle padding, since it was pink and had flowers :) I am actually going to get that done today, and will post pictures later of it. I will update more on me and Kahle once we have the ultrasound and see the doctor on Friday!!

A Little Bit of This and A Little Bit of That!

There are some funny sayings and pictures that I realized I haven't posted yet, so I thought I would put it all in one post!

Grant has picked up on 'Oh Snap!' It is funny to hear come out of his mouth.

Delaney cannot just call me Mom, or Mommy. She has to say 'Mom, Mommyyyyyy' and she totally exaggerates the 'ee' on Mommy. And she will repeat it until I say 'Yes Delaney' or 'What Delaney'. Then she will go on with what she wanted to say.

Delaney has also picked up on Knock knock jokes. The boys love to tell them, and so she says knock knock and then rambles on with her joke and then laughs at herself. It is too cute!

After changing Cole's diaper the other day, he told me I was a great helper! It made me laugh so hard, but so glad that he sees me as a great helper :)

Here are some pictures:
This one Delaney and Cole emptied out the whole basket and climbed in it together.
She hated, and I mean hated, bows forever. Now she loves wearing them, and putting them on herself :)
This her Delaney's 'Cheez' face!
Goofing around!
Grammy and Papa Dan got Delaney these fairy wings and she LOVES them! She wears them a lot and one night would not take them off until we were getting ready for bed. She even ate dinner with them on :)
Grant wanting a picture taken of his silly face!
Haden wanting a picture taken of him blowing a bubble with his gum!
Dressing up! They looked too cute to not take a picture :) Delaney has an obsession with her jacket and socks! She wears them all the time! If she wants socks she will go upstairs and find some in a drawer and come down and put them on herself.
One Sunday we were at my parents for Nate and Adri's birthday dinner and my Dad sat down with all the kids and told them a story. He is by far an awesome, and the best story teller! The kids loved it and just laughed. Thanks for being such a cute Papa Dan Daddy, my kids love you!
This last picture was just the other day, we were all hanging out and Jeff noticed these three all laying around a book while Grant told the story. It was so cute!

I love and adore my kids and look forward to adding Kahle to the crew! Not too much longer, which is crazy but so exciting! I got his clothes washed today and man we are set. Between our boys' clothes and my sisters Dana and Adri's boys clothes we have MORE than enough for the first 3 months (Thanks Dana and Adri). The clothes are so tiny, and so cute! Well that was a long post :) Hope I didn't bore you too much!

32 Weeks!

So I am 32 weeks as of yesterday, which means the end is coming quicker than I am admitting to myself, lol! I had my appt. on Tuesday, and everything with Kahle is great! I am still measuring ahead, my doctor didn't say how far, but when I asked if I was he gave me a big yes! So we decided that on May 1st I will have an ultrasound to measure how big Kahle is, and to try and figure out why I am measuring so far ahead. I won't see my doctor on that day, just the nurse practioner, so hopefully she can give me some answers. If not it will have to wait until I see my doctor 2 weeks after that! It will be nice to have some answers and decide what we are going to do from there. I am excited to see Kahle one more time before he is born, and so are the boys. We figure we might as well take them with us to the ultrasound, and I am hoping to get more pictures of him too. I am fine with them taking him earlier, pain wise. I still have so much I want to do, and I am going to be working on them each week and on the weekends when Jeff is home to help with the kids! Just cleaning and decluttering as well as getting things ready for Kahle to come.

I also learned that a doctor can tell if you are eating enough protein! He told me that my ketone levels were high enough he would assume I was vomiting and having diarrhea, but since I wasn't that it had to be I wasn't eating enough protein. It would also explain why I am so tired, I eat, but not always protein. And the day of my appt. I hadn't really eaten much, it had been one of those days and I just was busy and really didn't eat. So I have to make sure I eat each meal, and to have protein. Otherwise the baby is taking any and all protein I do have, if I am not eating enough and my muscle. I said if it was my fat I would be fine with that, lol, but it isn't it is muscle. So I am trying to be better about that!

It is exciting and crazy to think we only have a month and 2 weeks left. I love being pregnant, but with how hard, pain wise, this pregnancy has been I am ready to get him here! The kids are ready to hold him, and talk about it all the time. Cole has been so cute and talks to Cole a couple times a day. It is sweet and just so cute, I love it! Haden will hug and kiss my belly and tell Kahle goodbye before he leaves for school, he will even do that over giving me a hug, lol! He makes sure I know it is meant for Kahle and not me!

Anyway, so that is my update! We will know more on the 1st, hopefully!!

Easter 2009

We had a fantastic Easter this year! We woke up early Easter morning, and the kids checked out their baskets, played for a bit and then Jeff made us a big breakfast, which was so yummy! After breakfast we started to get ready for church, which was at 9 am. So we got everyone ready, took some pictures and headed out the door. Jeff and I were so impressed with how well the kids did during Sacrament meeting! It was nice! Then they all went to their classes pretty well and Jeff and I were able to enjoy our meetings while the kids had fun in their classes. After church we came home, Cole and Delaney went down for naps, and Haden and Grant played. Then we got ready to head out to my parents house for an Easter egg hunt. They kids always enjoy being with their cousins, and my parents had lots of fun planned! Thanks Mom and Dad for everything, the kids love their baskets and talk about everything we did! That night we came home, got kids ready for bed and then Jeff and I crashed at about 9:30, which for me is early :) It was a great day! Here are some pictures for you to enjoy, click to see all of them!!

30 weeks!

This past Thursday I hit 30 weeks in my pregnancy! Only 10 weeks left until my due date, and 9 weeks until our scheduled c-section! I am anxious to see my OB next week to see what more he has to say and if I am still measuring big. So far this pregnancy I have been dealing with more pain and aches than usual. This pregnancy is definitely taking it's toll on my body and making my decision of being done having kids that much more official! I guess it is to be expected with having 5 kids in 6 1/2 years, which is just crazy :)
I love watching the boys talk to Kahle and be totally in love with him before he is even here. Cole has started to talk to him, and is constantly telling Jeff and I that Kahle is a boy, his brother. He kisses my belly and tells Kahle how much he loves him a couple times a day. Even if he doesn't quite get it, it is still fun to see.
Kahle's middle name is still being discussed! Jeff and I are not agreeing, lol! He will have one, even if it takes us until the night before he is born, it's just finding something we both like.
I will update more on my pregnancy after I see my doctor next Tuesday.
