Delaney Starts Pre-School!!!

We were going to start Delaney in Pre-School back when school started, but we weren't sure how our schedules would be and everything. Fast forward to now, and I had mentioned something to Cole's Kindergarten teacher, she told me to see if they had any room in the Pre-School at Schorr. So I did, and sure enough they had a spot for her. We were so excited, but Delaney was WAY more excited than we were! So today was her first day, and she could hardly wait until it was time! It was so cute to watch her :)

She had a Great day!!!! She said she loved it and even talked to her teachers (which is HUGE for her, although we will have to ask them if she did, lol)!! She said she even made a friend, Kenzie (who is 3, and is just cute)! Delaney said that she was tiny and could help her on the playground :) She is SO excited to go back tomorrow, which makes me so happy!!!!

Pinewood Derby 2012!!

It is Pinewood Derby Time!!! Haden put a lot of thought in to what type of car he wanted. He didn't want anything too tricky or different. So he picked a wedge type car. Jeff and him got to work on it and it turned out great!


Saturday, the 21st at 2:30pm was the race time. It was all set and we got there early to get Haden's car checked in and find some seats!

Haden's car did Fantastic!!! He had the fastest time in our ward, which he was very proud of!


The 3 boys from our ward moving onto the Stake Finals! They were SO proud, and we were so proud of them!!!!


All of the boys from our ward did a Great job! It is such a fun event and I love watching the excitement on these boys' faces!

Back for the Stake Finals, and Haden was excited and nervous!

Coming in first in one of the races! Yep Haden is the red blur in the the lane with the 1 above it!

Out of 73 Cars in our Stake, Haden ranked 8th place!!! To be honest he was a bit sad to not get a trophy, but when we explained that he was 8th out of 73 cars, he became a bit more happy :) We were SO proud of him and his car!!!!

I loved watching these two work on it together! And I loved watching Jeff let Haden call the shots, and go with it! It wasn't easy, even for me, but in the end it all came together and they both did Awesome!!!

Girls Day!!

A while back we saw previews for Beauty and the Beast 3D coming to theaters. Jeff mentioned to Delaney and I that we should go, just us girls. Delaney LOVED that idea! Well fast forward to this last week when it finally hit the theaters, we were looking at our schedule and figuring out when we could go. Today the boys' didn't have school, so we figured it was the best time to go! On top of everything we got a free ticket to the movie, which was awesome!! We also decided to invite Lorey and Sierra to come along, which was fun :)

The morning started off with Delaney requesting that we have matching hair. So we both diffused our hair and made it curly! It was fun and Delaney's smile was priceless! Next we painted our finger nails and toe nails bright pink and matching. I don't usually paint my finger nails, but Delaney wanted me to, so we did! She loved that we were matching!

After lunch Lorey and Sierra came and picked us up. We made a stop at Hobby Lobby to pick up some things for pine wood derby cars for the boys. And then off to the theater we went! The girls were so excited and cute to watch as they practically ran into the theater. I loved every minute of today and enjoyed the time I got to spend with Delaney!

Such a fantastic day! And having this time with my girly girl who could not have been happier to just be with the girls! Something we will definitely have to do again :)

A pig is a pig!

And today our Pig, Sparty turned 2!

This day could not pass without the kids wanting to sing him Happy Birthday :) It made me smile!



He also got some more Cheerios and a harness to see if we can take him on walks. So far he is not a fan of the harness, we will see!



Happy 2nd Birthday Sparty!!!

Just one word.....

I have been thinking a lot about resolutions and just couldn't be happy to write some things down that I most likely wouldn't do or keep up with. I have struggled with it and a little bit ago I saw a friends blog, where she chose one word for her year to live by. I LOVE that idea!!! And let her know that I would be stealing the idea :) So since then, I have been trying to find a word that I want to do daily throughout the year, it hasn't been easy! But after much thought I have come up with one word for 2012.....
ENJOY!



I want to Enjoy my family more! Enjoy life more! Enjoy each moment of each day! I want to Enjoy the moments in my kids lives more, and make them aware of how much I Enjoy them!



At the end of this year I hope to look back and to see the moments I took time to Enjoy! I hope my kids will notice a difference in the time I take for them, to Enjoy them more than I already do!!!
